About Me

In 2008 I was exposed to the stock market, and quickly became fascinated with the stock market. After haphazardly following and paper trading  stocks for a few months it became clear to me that within the stock market there existed the potential, for any person willing to work hard, to become not only financially successful but to become financially independent.   After that “illuminating  light bulb” moment, I endeavoured to discover the most important and hardest aspects of achieving these new-founded goals, that is, Why do stocks move. How to know which stocks will rise. And When to get in and out of a stock.  So I got in my car, and drove to the book store.                       After reading a few very general books on stocks, I decided that I wanted to be a trader rather than an investor, which meant learning about Swing Trading, Momentum Trading, and Day Trading. That decision led me to the Technical Analysis school of thought, so I began reading every book that I could get my hands on that had to do with Technical Indicators, the various types of trading mentioned above, and Candlestick Charting in order to create the foundation for which I planned to build my trading career on.                                                              Since the inception of my trading aspirations I have watched the market from a level 2 perspective 5 days a week for the past 3 years, applying the various methods and indicators  that I came across in my reading. I have never taking a course on finance or the stock market (excluding an elective that I took in High School). But I had the best teacher that a person can learn from, experience. And over the course of my trading for 3-4 years I have experienced a vast number of real life, real money  situations  that can be located at the “Epic Failures” and “Epic Triumphs” sides of the trading spectrum, and everywhere inbetween. And from the moment I decided to hop on board the emotional roller coaster that is trading stock full time, I have been able to hone and develop my analytic abilities.
